Meinen Berufsabschluss hab ich gemacht, wie jeder Andere,
aber schon in der Berufsschule stand ich immer unter dem Verdacht,
Alles abgeschrieben zu haben. Ein Weib kann doch keine Ahnung von Autos haben!
Der allerdümmste Kerl in der Klasse hatte bessere Zensuren, als ich,

I met Doren at school. I attend a small junior college in the Midwest and we met
in English composition 101. I had went
through a nasty divorce, failed out of a four year college, did a hitch in the
service and now I was looking for a second start.
Doren was very beautiful and bright and had a figure proportional to a Barbie
Doll before Mattell decided that they were built too well, except that she had
all of the essential details. I never understood why she didn't go to a larger
school....
It was a hot spring night, I was on routine patrol, and
being relatively new to the job, I guess I was still
pretty green. I was working my way back to town when a
beat up Chevy flew past me. I thought I recognized the
car as I took off after it. I caught up to it and hit the
lights. I was surprised when it quickly pulled over. It
was Derek Smothers car all right. He was a local bad ass,
or so he thought.
"Derek would never just pull over, without a little chase
first," I thought....
